Superbus is a new and innovative idea for public transport. It combines the speed of the high speed train by going 250kph on dedicated infrastructure, and the comfort of the personal car with its 16 doors, leather seats and bussiness rooms. The vehicle is powered by 4 electric motors and an interchangeable battery pack. Aerodynamic effeciency, safety and a lightweight structure were the prime design goals. To achieve the latter Superbus is entirely made out of carbon fibre epoxy, produced mainly by means of the Vacuum Infusion Process. My task is to adapt and implement the process to achieve the envisaged properties of each part of Superbus.
